Terms of use
These terms govern the use of the Repères application and related features.
Acceptance
By using this site, you accept these terms. If you disagree, do not use the service.
Service description
The service aggregates and displays open mobility, city, weather, map, routing, and Hydro-Quebec outage data. It includes an interactive map, filters, favorites, multimodal itineraries, notifications, widgets, and diagnostic pages. Features may evolve, be interrupted, or removed without prior notice.
User account
You are responsible for your account information, credentials confidentiality, the accuracy of saved places you register, and notification rules you enable. Activity performed through your account is your responsibility. From My account, you can edit or remove these addresses, export your data, and delete your account.
Favorites and preferences
Favorites, preferences (filters, map, language, notifications), Home/Work/custom places, and parked-car location may be stored locally and/or linked to your account. Saved places are retained until you edit/remove them or delete your account. If you delete your account, account-linked data is permanently removed server-side; some local preferences may remain in browser/app storage until local storage is cleared.
Data sources and attribution
Data must be considered informational. Original source rights and licenses apply (STM, Exo, RTL, STL, City of Montreal, Agence de mobilite durable, BIXI, Communauto, Hydro-Quebec, Open-Meteo, RSQA/Donnees Quebec, OpenStreetMap/Protomaps, Esri, Geoapify/Nominatim, OpenTripPlanner). Layer-level attribution and sources are listed in the Data methodology page.
Limitation of liability
The service is provided as-is, without warranty of uninterrupted availability, accuracy, or completeness. The publisher cannot be held liable for direct or indirect damages from use of the service.
Privacy
Geolocation, compass, notifications, and geofencing rely on browser or system permissions and remain under your control. Personal data is limited to authentication, favorites, preferences, saved places, and requested features (including web push/APNs/FCM, widgets, Live Activities, parked car, or contextual alerts when enabled). Home/Work can power some contextual notifications only when you explicitly enable those alerts.
Account deletion
From My account, you can edit/remove saved places, export your data, and delete your account. Deletion logs you out immediately and removes associated server-side account data, including Home/Work, custom places, and notification rules.
